Coomera Rivers State School opened in January 2011 to serve the rapidly growing northern Gold Coast suburb of Coomera. Through an expectation for high standards, the school provides families with a safe, disciplined and focused learning environment for students in Prep to Year 7. The school employs indoor and outdoor flexible learning areas. Classrooms are digitally rich learning environments and utilise the latest in technology to support and enhance student learning including one-to-one laptop programs in our senior school. We focus on improving English, Mathematics and Science skills and knowledge for every student using 21st century teaching approaches. Our student council, playground leaders program and school wide positive behaviour systems promote quality relationships and leadership capabilities for students.
